The Association was set up in 1994 to help the Deaf, deafened, deafblind and hard of hearing people of West Sussex. National statistics say that that one in seven people in this country are hearing impaired and the West Sussex figures are higher. The Association is core funded by West Sussex Social Services and works in partnership with many other local and national organisations.

During the last eight years we have helped hundreds of local people to communicate and socialise by supplying help, support and environmental aids equipment.
