Nottinghamshire Deaf Society is a Voluntary Charitable Company Limited by Guarantee which provides positive and empowering services and opportunities responding to the needs of the local Deaf Community.

We provide a comprehensive range of high quality services for a wide range of Deaf people living in Nottinghamshire. These services include an Interpreting Service, Health Project, I.C.T training, Volunteer/Befriending scheme and training opportunities for both the Deaf and hearing people, including Deaf Awareness and BSL.NDS are also proactive in providing training and development to the corporate sector to ensure they are complying with the DDA through bespoke Deaf Awareness training

NDS has been awarded The Investor in People and Matrix standards.
