deafPLUS supports the personal development of deaf people, which includes people with all levels of hearing loss, through deaf/hearing partnerships. It is the person, not the level of deafness, who is our first concern. We provide the support, information and training to make this possible. Our core values are Communication, Openness, Responsibility and Equality. To achieve these we will work to ensure that; deaf people are encouraged to develop their skills and potential as role models; our total communication policy offers a choice of methods which enable deaf and hearing people to communicate effectively; there are effective and equal partnerships between deaf and hearing people.
