Deaf Positive is a consumer organisation that campaigns for the rights of deaf and hard of hearing people to equal access to television. Deaf Positive publishes its magazine 'Mailshot' three times yearly, which is available to subscribed members. Members are invited to attend the Open Forums, which act as a platform for open dialogue between consumers, broadcasters and professionals concerned with the quality of television. Deaf Positive also liaises between affiliates, organisations and deaf people on relevant broadcasting and consumer issues.
