The Suffolk Deaf Association

http://www.grinningplanet.com/2005/01-25/coffee-cup-cartoon-copyright2.gifWe would like to invite you to drop in for a cup of coffee or tea on any day between Tuesday 3rd May and Friday 6th May (between 10.00am and 12 noon each day).  We are at Suffolk House – on the corner at the junction between Dales Road and Wharfedale Road.

You do not have to be deaf or hard-of-hearing to visit us! You might, however, hear or see something that could be of interest to someone else who has some degree of hearing loss.

What is Deaf Awareness Week?
All organisations working with deaf people anywhere in the UK are holding ‘open house’ events so that anyone can come and see and better understand how deaf, deafened, deaf-blind and hard of hearing people can acquire better communication skills through:
Lipreading Classes
British Sign Language Classes (BSL)
Social Clubs and Sports Clubs
Tinnitus Groups
Hard-of-Hearing Clubs
We look forward to meeting you!
