How about texting? Have your say

How do you feel about text communication? Whether you like it or loathe it, new research wants your views on different ways of using text. There are options such as textphone, email, SMS, fax, Internet chatrooms and writing letters. What do think about them? Would you like them to be different in cost, ease of use, facilities, availability? Have your say, because researchers at London's City University are analysing the needs of people who do not use conventional voice telephony. The research is commissioned by BT, Orange, O2, Vodafone, Oftel, DIEL and the Telecommunications Action Group. They want to know how effective current services are and how to make them better. Do you use text communication now but would you like services improved? Or do you not currently use text? The researchers would still like to hear from you, to find out if there's any change to text services which could be useful. To take part in the survey (in complete confidence) contact: Text survey, FREEPOST LON16480, London, W3 8BR. Tel 020 8992 4302 Fax 0871 433 9272 Textphone 020 7040 8353 SMS 07961 827 873 Email to textsurvey@hotmail.com
