Disclosure

We are registered as an umbrella body with the Criminal Records Bureau. Member Organisations can make applications for Disclosure through us without having to register direct with the CRB. This not only avoids the complicated procedure of registering, but also saves the £300 registration fee. We also make no charge for administering the applications, so the only cost is the CRB fee of £24 for Standard Disclosures or £28 for Enhanced Disclosures (free for volunteers). Many member organisations are already taking advantage of this service. If you would like further details please contact Jonathan Isaac, j.isaac@deafcouncil.org.uk
