A Community Doctor in Audiology is a doctor who works with children with all types and degrees of hearing impairment. BAPA works to support hearing impaired children and their families to enable them to reach their potential. We actively promote paediatric audiology as a medical speciality within the context of a multidisciplinary team for the management of childhood deafness. BAPA encourages its members to be advocates for deaf children and families, to participate in audit and research - nationally and locally, to pursue higher training and work together with other professionals involved in paediatric audiology.
